Who is Oliver Locke?
Oliver Locke is an American software engineer, cybersecurity forensic consultant, and the founder of Eclix Technologies, the AI app platform behind eclixai.com. He is based in Sarasota, Florida, works regularly in Orlando, and serves clients across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Locke is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and started computing at five years old on an IBM PS/1. By his teens he was pulling apart networks and operating systems to understand how they worked at the lowest level. In 2004, at twenty years old, he moved to Sarasota, Florida, where he has been based ever since.
His story is not a clean one, and he has never pretended otherwise. In the mid 2000s, Locke was involved in one of the largest payment card breach cases in American history, the federal investigation publicly known as Operation Get Rich or Die Tryin. When the United States Secret Service closed in, he cooperated fully, and his technical intelligence was described by investigators as exceptionally valuable.
The years since have been spent putting the same skills to work on the right side. Today Locke consults on digital forensics and cybersecurity cases for government contractors and law enforcement agencies, including work with the US Secret Service, the FBI, and British authorities.
“I owe a debt. Not to any court or any agency. To myself.”
